THE WITNESSES OF THE HISTORY :
FLUTED MINARET (XIII century): It is the first Islamic building in Antalya. The body of the building has been designed with red and turquoise bricks.
HYDRIAN GATES (130 A.D): It has been built for Emperor Hydrian in 130 A.D .This building is a prime example of the old defeating the new .
HIDIRLIK TOWER: It is located at the very South of the surrounding walls of the old town. It has been used for ship signals and the protection of the city.
OUT AND ABOUT IN ANTALYA :
There are 3 ancient sites called Perge, Aspendos and Side to the east of Antalya. These places provide detailed information about the cultures and life styles of the communities that lived here and the ancient cities they had founded.
Antalya Museum is one of the largest museums in Turkey where you can find numerous examples of well-preserved historical remains brought to light from nearby excavations.
Termesos, Olimpos,Phaselis,St Nicolas Church (Demre) are other significant historical locations to the east of Antalya.
